Our Mission
At Wild Oaks ELC our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages your child's growth and development.
We strive to create a foundation for lifelong learning and success.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to teaching the children in our care a lifelong love of nature, sustainability, gardening and growth and utilise our outside area daily to develop these qualities.

At Wild Oaks ELC, we believe that every child is unique and has their own way of learning. That's why we incorporate a variety of teaching methods to cater to each child's individual needs.
The Nest
A new feature at Wild Oaks is the yurt we had installed over the summer holidays.
A yurt is a non-permanent structure used primarily by the Mongolians as a home.
Our yurt has been constructed in Mongolia and is built using the same traditional methods which includes the wonderful art design around the door frame which is Mongolian symbolism for security, harmony and safety.
The Yurt will provide a cosy environment in adverse weather as they maintain heat in the winter and can keep cool in the summer. Its structure internally has beautiful lattice woodwork around the walls and a conical shaped celling with a window to provide natural light.
In the winter months the interior will be magically lit up with twinkling lights and there are snug warm blankets, and lots of cosy areas for reading and exploring lots of lovely natural resources and small world toys.
The Yurt will provide the children with a unique alternative indoor space which they would not have access to anywhere else locally. It is a real asset and feature of what we have to offer.
We are excited to add it to the children’s routine and utilise it daily.
It’s also a great space for staff and parents to meet and share information as the office can be a busy, shared space.
